Neighborhood Watch Update: Halloween fast approaching...

With Halloween fast approaching, here are some reminders from the Woodridge Police Department to contribute to a fun and safe event:

With Halloween just around the corner, the Woodridge Police Department wishes everyone a safe and happy Halloween and requests that the following guidelines be observed.
* Allow Children to Trick or Treat on Halloween Day, Monday, October 31st from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
* Be sure that children have adult supervision while they trick or treat and only go to homes where you know the people who live there.
* DO NOT ALLOW the treats to be eaten until they have been inspected by an adult.
* Wash fruits and cut into small pieces before eating. Examine candy closely and discard unpackaged edibles.
* Report suspicious or destructive activity to the Police immediately - call 911.

At the annual meeting of the Homowners of the Seven Bridges, (more on this later) we have invited the Community Liaison Officer from the Woodridge Police to attend, and there will be further discussion about the Neighborhood Watch program.
