Halloween Party -- CANCELLED

Thank you to all who have registered and brought candy. Unfortunately, today's Halloween Party is being cancelled due to rain. While it appears that the sun will come out in time for the party, the park and tennis courts are very wet and will not dry out in time.

If you provided candy for the party, it has been opened and mixed together in preparation for the games. You may pick it up by bringing a bag and scooping some from the bin on the front porch at 6821 Greene beginning at 11:00 am. Candy that is not picked up by this evening will be handed out for trick or treat. Any left over will be donated to the troops.

Dog Dropping Reminder

We've had a number of complaints recently of dog droppings being left in yards where the dogs don't live.

If you're a dog owner, please make sure to clean up after your pet as its definitely disrespectful of the neighborhood and our neighbors to leave that in someone else's yard.

Halloween Party Needs Help

The party is targeted for Saturday 10/31 this year but we need people to run the event as well as help handle the games if we're going to have the party.

Please let us know asap at info@mysevenbridges.com if you can act as the event coordinator or are able to run one of the games during the party.

Also, if you are hoping to attend, please sign up using the link below on the site so we know how many people are still interested.

Board member election

Our annual election is coming up at the homeowner's meeting in November. If you would like to help out on the association board please let us know by 10/15 so we can get your name on the ballots we will be distributing.

If you have any questions about what being on the board involves or are ready to volunteer, please contact Alex Bratton at president@mysevenbridges.com

Neighborhood Watch Alert

We were recently notified of two cars that were burglarized on Vardon Ct. last weekend. The cars were left unlocked and parked in driveways. They were entered into and had items taken from each. One car had a garage door opener in it and the device was used to open a garage door. Lights and some activity were enough to prevent a house break-in.

Please report any such activity to the Woodridge Police department immediately. As a reminder we have a neighborhood watch meeting on Wednesday, 9/16/09 at 7pm at the Woodridge Police Station.
