The next meeting of the Seven Bridges Neighborhood Watch will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the training room at the Woodridge Police Department located at One Plaza Drive, Woodridge, IL 60517.

Anyone who lives in Seven Bridges Estates is welcome to attend. The meeting will include a presentation from Woodridge Police Officer Jeff Bean discussing recent crime statistics for our neighborhood and crime prevention strategies.

Neighborhood Watch is a community crime prevention program with the objectives of reducing crime and/or the opportunity for crime. The program is designed to supplement police activities by providing extra eyes, ears, and awareness of unusual activity such as strange cars or persons in the neighborhood. Neighborhood Watch is people looking out for people and is considered a major deterrent against crime.

The Seven Bridges Estates Homeowners Association hosted a Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, June 27th. Although the turnout was very small, we had fun and actually got a lot done.

Thank you to Joe Jacksa for coordinating this event and thanks to all who made it out.

Please help maintain the beauty of our neighborhood by patrolling your own lot, especially curbs and adjacent common areas such as bike paths, cul de sacs, etc. We have had several complaints recently about animal waste and picked-up quite a bit during the clean-up. Dog owners, please pick-up after your pets.

The next meeting will take place on Monday July 13th, 7:00 pm at 3841 Vardon ct. All residents are welcome.

Seven Bridges Community Clean-Up Day

*Please join your neighbors and help clean-up our community on Saturday, June 27th from 10am until noon.

*Meet at the park at 10am to team up with fellow residents to patrol common areas. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring gloves!

*Great way for students to earn some community service hours.

*Please sign up on our website and contact your board with

It has come to our attention that a vendor has recently sent out a batch of advertising making them look like they came from the association with the text "important information for Seven Bridges Homeowners Association Members" on the envelope. This mailing is not from the association nor endorsed by the association. We are disappointed in the misleading nature of the mailing.

We have not and will not sell or distribute the addresses of homeowners to vendors. They likely purchased or created the list themselves.

We try to make sure our mailings are clearly marked with the Seven Bridges logo and association name on the return address.

Our annual community garage sale will be on Friday May 15th and Saturday May 16th starting at 8am each day.

If you plan to participate, please sign up below using the web site so we can produce maps and post signs directing people to participating houses. Make sure to include your address with your name.

The deadline to sign-up for this year's Easter Egg Hunt is Monday April 6th. Please register today by sending an e-mail to burkecc2000@yahoo.com and dropping off candy at 6613 Chick Evans Lane.
