The Morning Easter Egg Hunt for Kids ages 0 thru 6 will be on Saturday, April 11th at 10:00 AM (if there is rain – same day at 2:00 pm). Children should bring their Easter Baskets to collect eggs.

This year there will be a donation of non-perishable food items to the Woodridge Food Pantry. Please bring at least two non-perishable food items per child participating.

We are asking for each family that participates to drop off the Easter candy (one bag per child participating) along with the non-perishable food items (two items per child participating) to a drop box at 6613 Chick Evans Lane. The candy drop off deadline is Monday, April 6th. The box will be out every day from 8 am till dark and be labeled “Easter Egg Hunt Candy”. This candy will be used to stuff the plastic eggs. (so no suckers or large candy please)

The Night Time Hunt for Kids 7 & Up will be held on Friday, April 10th at 7:30 PM (rain or shine). Children should bring a basket and flashlight.

The block party this year was a huge success and we appreciate the great feedback from everyone who attended. We had right around 150 people attending this year.

We would like to give special thanks to the Ramm's and Wilhelm's for their extra efforts and generosity during the event.

We also want to thank Dugovich's for keeping the tunes flowing as our DJs for the party and handling all of the equipment.

And I personally wanted to thank the rest of the board who all really dug in to pull off the party with a lot of hard work.

We'll be targeting the same weekend next year (the weekend before Labor Day) for a repeat.

The board wanted to express our deep appreciation for Shawn Arbid's work heading up the neighborhood's landscaping efforts the last couple years. He's done an amazing job, saved the association a lot of money and kept things running smoothly. He has given a lot of his time to make that all happen.

Shawn is stepping down from the board and Laurie Smith will be jumping in run with landscaping efforts going forward. Cathie Bucek will also be assuming the role as association treasurer.

Flyers have recently been distributed to Seven Bridges Estates homeowners advertising a service to paint addresses on curbs. Neither the service, nor the flyer were sponsored or endorsed by the Seven Bridges Estates Homeowners Association Board of Directors. It is an individual homeowner decision whether or not to participate in this offer.

The neighborhood block party is fast approaching (next Saturday, 8/23 at 4pm).

Please sign up for the party by Friday, 8/15. You can purchase your tickets online, drop a check off with Laurie Smith, 3841 Vardon Court, or send us a paypal directly too (payments@mysevenbridges.com).
