Attempted car burglary

On one instance, the incident took place around 5:00 am, the car was parked on the homeowner's driveway and was unlocked. While nothing of value was taken, the burglar used the garage remote opener to get access to the second car inside the garage. In both cases, the items inside the car were moved and left over the seats or console.
As always, if you see something suspicious or out of place do not hesitate to call 911.
In Woodridge, the 911 number is not just for life threatening events. Use it whenever you need a police or fire department response any time of the day or night ---even just to report a crime, suspicious behavior or file a police report. Even if you are not sure, the chances are you should call 911.
